      <Abstract>Vallecular cysts, though uncommon, can lead to severe complications in an anesthetised patient if airway management is mishandled. We present a case of challenging intubation in a 65-year-old man with a vallecular cyst and outline the techniques and strategies employed to achieve successful awake intubation using a fiberoptic bronchoscope.</Abstract>
